CAN-SG supports the rights and freedoms of same-sex attracted people (lesbian, gay and bisexual people) and our membership is heterogenous as regards sexuality. Homophobia and biphobia are still prevalent in society and must be actively countered, including in healthcare settings. A person’s sexuality is an important part of their health and well-being, and everyone deserves to be able to access healthcare that offers well-informed, evidence-based care that addresses their specific needs.
